General English

Structured for complete skills development, each student gets a comprehensive structure to build confidence using English in their everyday lives and business by using a discovery approach to grammar, vocabulary building, pronunciation and culture awareness.

All levels of General English (Beginner to Intermediate) include a Student book, a Language PowerBook (worksheets) and a corresponding level dictionary (New Opportunities – Pearson Longman).

The audio CDs are excellent to develop listening skills in several different accents, using everyday language, including appropriate slang and instilling confidence with other English speaking – native and English Second Language – nationalities. Ideal for Grade 7 to Adult.

 

Beginner: CEFR 0-A1

40 hours per term, 3 terms

The Beginner level is organized in sixteen modules. The content is relative to all students and allows them to talk and write about their own environment and cross-cultural situations. A key advantage of this course is that there is a clear direction to learning. The lessons and tasks are carefully worked out in stages and all lead up to clear communicative outcomes. Grade 7 to Adult.

 

Elementary: CEFR A1

40 hours per term, 3 terms

The Elementary level is organized in sixteen modules. The topic-based modules are “paired” and the pairs consist of Friends/Personality; Around Town/Going Places; History/Telling Stories; Healthy Living/Sport; Holidays/Cultures; Image/Celebrities; Volunteers/Shopping; and Computers/Space. Each pair is followed by a review lesson. Grade 7 to Adult.

 

Pre-Intermediate: CEFR A2-B1

40 hours per term, 3 terms

The Pre-Intermediate level is organized in sixteen modules. The topic-based modules are “paired” and the pairs consist of Lifestyle/Home; Heroes/Challenge; Celebration/Food; Money/Gadgets; Communication/The Web; The Sea/Mountains; Dance/Music; and Pictures/Buildings. Each pair is followed by a review lesson. Grade 7 to Adult.

 

Intermediate: CEFR B1-B2

40 hours per term, 3 terms

The Intermediate level is organized in ten modules. The modules are Adventure, Stories, Travel, Media, Advertising, People, Learning, Careers, Culture Shock, and Civilization, each have three main lessons. The first focuses on reading skills and vocabulary. The second lesson introduces new grammar within the context of the theme. The third develops oral skills. Grade 7 to Adult.

 

English for Children

30 hours per term, 3 terms per book

Parents of children in Grades 1 to 6 who need extra assistance in English studies will find this program very effective for their children to learn English . Many of the public schools do not have English in their curriculum and we can provide for that absence in the language learning skills.

Super Kids
The Student book is a six-level series, with nine core units with colorful illustrations in addition to fun songs, chants to help children learn through singing and movement. The Activity book has one activity page and listening activity for every unit lesson to reinforce the language learned. There is a CD for all listening activities to practice listening skills. Grades 1 to 6.

Side – by – Side
This Pearson-Longman series takes students from beginner level to intermediate level using simple methods such as repetition in building vocabulary, pronunciation, and speaking skills. This material consists of two packages; textbooks and workbooks. This material is also equipped with an audio program that can improve and familiarize students with listening in English. Children and adults love it. Grades 1 to Adult
